Dye Rice and Pasta
1. Put the required amount of rice or pasta into a plastic bag: A bread bag or freezer bag is ideal but make sure it has no holes in it.
2. Pour in a little food colouring.
3. Tie a knot in the top of the bag, allowing plenty of room for the rice or pasta to move around.
4. Shake the bag well to cover the rice or pasta with colour.
5. Leave in the bag for a couple of hours, shaking it occasionally.
6. Open the bag and spread the rice or pasta thinly onto a baking sheet.
7. Place in the oven on a low heat for approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively spread out thinly onto kitchen roll and leave to dry overnight.
